
Freestyle Technical Support
It could be you? Snowport England is making important new advances in its
coaching strategy and the development of snowsports athletes in the UK. The Freestyle Committee
are currently looking for technical voluntary support for Ski Cross, Moguls, Aerials and Half Pipe
disciplines so if you are an Alpine coach, a Feestyle coach, a sports professional, a retired racer
or just someone 'in the know' with a passion for skiing and willing to devote a little bit of time to
assist the Freestyle Executive move forward with its strategy, we would love to hear
from you. We are currently considering applications for the following positions on the Freestyle
Technical Group and would like to offer these to as wide a group as possible:-
Participation representative ( Current / recent former freestyle athlete )
Performance representative ( Expert technical knowledge of one ( or more ) freestyle / alpine disciplines )
Talent development representative ( Strong Technical Knowledge of athlete development and coaching )
Coach Education representative ( Tutor / Technical knowledge of training ski professionals )
Club/psychology representative ( Ski Club out reach - a person who will liase with our list of ski club contacts )
Coaching academy representative ( member of BASI or other organisations or ski academy - for example )
Task & Finish representatives ( individuals to deliver one-off tasks and sit on the committee as 'do-ers' )
