Dear Scottish Snowsportsmen and Snowsportswomen,
Please find attached a letter (Attachment1) together with a digest (Attachment 2) of “Modernization” from John Clayton, Honorary President, Snowsport Scotland.
In line with John’s letter a meeting is planned to discuss the potential impact of “Modernization” on THURSDAY 20TH OCTOBER 2005 AT 1930 HOURS AT ‘THE ROYAL GEORGE HOTEL in PERTH. The meeting room will be open from 1900 hours for review of available documentation on Modernization. Furthermore from our discussions with various clubs there is a general concern as to where we are going.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the status quo and to consider various proposals for appropriate action. I have sent this note to all registered ski clubs on the SnSc website, the current members of the Board and other interested parties. Please do not hesitate to forward this E-Mail to any persons that you feel would be interested.
We are very interested in your Clubs position on modernization and look forward to your participation at the meeting. Please advise if you or delegates from your club will attend the meeting. Should your club be unable to be represented we would appreciate your comments and your support for the status quo to be maintained until we know more about these plans.
We can find no information on Modernization on Snowsport Scotland’s website however the following are links to documents on Snowsport GB website.
Should you have any queries on the above then please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the following
