British Schools Championships -
LSERSA girls do well
- Rochester Grammar won British Schools Championships at Rossendale on 18th November.
The team was Charlotte Evans, Alex Askew, Emily Evans and Raeesa Qureshi.
Although Emily fell on the second run they won by 6
seconds. Hayes - Stacey Luck, Joanna Llewellyn, Georgia Luck
and Eleanor Steward - came third.
- In the individual event, Charlotte was 1st Overall and 1st Junior 1, Alex was 3rd Overall and
1st Children 2, Stacey was 4th Overall and 1st Junior 2, Emily was 8th Overall and 1st Children 1.
In addition Rachel Underwood of Simon Langton was 3rd Junior 2 and Alice MacAulay or Surbiton was 2nd Children 1.
- In the boys event there were no podium places for the teams but some good individual perfomances:
Jamie Reid of Reeds was 6th Overall and 3rd Children 2,
Michael Owen of Harvey Grammar was 7th overall and 2nd Junior 2, and Luke Steyn of Reeds was 8th Overall.

ERSA v LSERSA v SRSA Inter Regional Event - 30th September 2006
at Brentwood Ski Centre
- Results - ERSA 'A' beat LSERSA 'A' in the final.
- Following the successful tri-regional event last year (in which
LSERSA 'A' beat LSERSA 'B' in the final and ERSA 'A' came third)
the event was held again this year. The focus of the day was ‘FUN’ - it
was not an elitist race and all were welcome.

Ski Slope Championships -
September 16th
- LSERSA skiers did well in these championships, occupying a number of podium positions.
- Charlotte Evans was 2nd overall and 2nd Junior 1. Alessia Thomas-Jackson was 1st Children 2
and 5th overall. Emily Evans won Children 1 coming 7th overall.
- David Blackwell came 2nd in Masters and 6th overall.
Lloyd Papantoniou was 3rd in Junior 1 and 7th overall.
James Gibb was 2nd in Children 1.

All England Artificial
Ski Slope Championships -
September 2nd/3rd
- LSERSA skiers did well in these championships appearing on the podium in many categories
including having the male champion and filling four
of the top five positions in the female race.
- Marc Telling was 1st in the Senior category and overall champion. Lloyd
Papantoniou was 2nd in Junior 1 and 5th overall. Oliver Robinson won
Junior 2, Tomasz Ondrusz and Olly Jeffery won the Masters 2 and Masters 1 categories.
James Gibb was 2nd in Children 2 and Andy Proudlove 2nd in Masters 2.
- Franki Simonds and Charlotte Evans were 2nd and 3rd Junior 1 and Overall.
Anouska Callendar won Junior 2 (and was 4th overall) with
Stacey Luck 2nd. Emily Evans won
Children 1 coming 5th overall. Katherine Earl won the Senior category and
Alex Askew won Children 2.

Max Moss came 1st and Luke Seymour 3rd in the Mini category.
- Wycombe (Paul Telling, Franki Simonds, Lloyd Papantoniou, Marc Telling)
won the club event.
