Chemmy wins GS at
French National Ski Championships
- Chemmy Alcott won the International Giant Slalom competition at the
French National Ski Championships in Villard de Lans on 2nd April having won a FIS GS
on the same course the previous day.

British Land National Ski Championships - LSERSA success
- A number of LSERSA skiers did very well in these championships held in generally bad weather in Meribel.
- Katrina Head was overall champion having come 2nd in the Downhill, 3rd in the Giant Slalom
and 2nd in the Slalom.
- Chemmy Alcott won both the Giant Slalom and Slalom, but did not compete in the Downhill.
- In the men's races Dan Berry, a 19 year old Londoner who has lived in Canada since he was 12, was 3rd
in the Downhill (and 1st Junior) and was 2nd in the Giant Slalom.
- Aaron Tipping picked up the cup for best Britsh under 18 in the Giant Slalom.

Chemmy Alcott's Success in GS at Europa Cup Finals
- Chemmy posted the best second run time to lift her from 30th
after the first run to 9th to earn her her best FIS GS points.

Chemmy Alcott's Olympic Giant Slalom in Sestriere
- In difficult conditions, heavy falling snow and poor visibility,
for the Olympic Giant Slalom on the 24th, Chemmy
finished the first run in a disappointing 32nd but redeemed herself with the 15th fastest second run to finish 22nd overall.

GBR Children - International Race - Trofeu Borrufa, Andorra
- Alessia Thomas-Jackson, on top form throughout the week, completed two
difficult runs to take the bronze medal in the Slalom event in Arinsal, and picked up a further trophy
for her 5th place in the new FIS ‘Combi’ event.

They will be sponsoring Emily Evans this coming season. In 2005 Emily easily won her age group in the LSERSA series, did
exceptionally well in the Grand Prix series and won her age group at the All England Championships.

Good and bad news about Ed Drake
- Ed was presented
with Kandahar’s Premier Award at the club's AGM dinner on 1st December.

- Unfortunately he will miss the whole of the 2005/06 season
because he is having an operation on his hip on 12th December.
