2011 Summer Ski Race Series
Poster and
Race Bulletin - contains entry form and important notice.
LSERSA Summer Race Series Format - The first page
is an overview and the two subsequent pages provide more details.
Note that Racers will need to say at bib collection
whether they will be entering the team dual slalom or not. It is very important that racers let race control know if they
change their mind for whatever reason. Just not turning up causes real problems and spoils it for other racers.
- This year Ambition Racing provided 6 training bursaries
for some of the region's most talented young athletes (who must be registered with a club affiliated to LSERSA). Racers in the
three youngest age groups had the chance to win FREE places
on the Ambition-Atomic Race Camps this summer. See Ambition's Poster for more details.
- At the Bromley race April Willows and Toby Case won places on the camp at the end of May.
- At the Aldershot race Lauren Vale and Joseph Davey won places on one of the two camps at the end of July and beginning of August.
- At the Brentwood race Lucy Woodward and Joshua Penning-Lambert won places on one of the two camps at the end of July and beginning of August.
- The Atomic UK team produced a short video of the camps which you can see at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG0UJ_lMvyY.
Superstars' Fitness Competition
- The competition runs during the races with the aim to promote fitness within the ski racing community.
For the 6th year in succession Snow & Rock has agreed to provide prizes for the winners at each regional race
and a prize for the overall series. See the poster for more details.
Series Trophy Winners - Prizes presented by Chemmy Alcott.

Individual Slalom Events
Since we ran an inter-club competition it is important that a racer's club and age group were specified
correctly. Please check these, and generally for other errors such as spelling mistakes, and
notify Alan Sandell
if a change is required. Thank you.
