| Well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the Tri Regional Event on
Saturday 15th October 2011. Every one for LSERSA turned up on a lovely sunny autumn day.
The racing was great with everyone cheering for their regions. All the racers seemed to enjoy
the day and there was a lot of healthy rivalry going on together with smiles and fun.
LSERSA came away with 1st Region Overall - Team A with Kieran Green, Frazer Southall, Dan Symons, Rachel Symons
and Laurence Willows; 1st Place Plate - Team B with Jack Brown, Ben Champion, Sam Gaskin, Nikkie Vale and
Harry Williams; and 3rd Place Plate - Team C with Paul Bunton, Peter Davies (stood in for the injured Greg Tuck),
Kieran Southall, Merrick Southall and Lauren Vale. Two of our racers were injured during the races and I am
pleased to hear they were not as serious as they first looked - best wishes go to Greg Tuck and Jamie Oliver
who both had to retire in the league stages.
A big thank you to all those parents, and there were many of you, who officiated in one way or the other on the day - these events cannot run without you all. It is the turn of LSERSA to organise the event next year so looking forward to hopefully retaining some of our trophies. Thank you.

Marc Telling wins British Indoor Championships
- To quote the latest SSE Newsletter: "In the mens competition, ex British Team member and now Ambition Ski Academy Programme
Director Marc Telling put
down two great runs to take the overall title. A great result for Marc considering he gets to stand on the side of the
hill most days telling his athletes how it should be done and rarely gets to train for himself. Just goes to show he
must know what he’s talking about! Marc was pushed very closely by one of his trainees, Ashley Hill (Ambition)
and by English Team member Matt Thompson (Hemel & Impluse) in second and third place respectively." See the
