Lots of exciting happenings in the world of cross-country

CLASSIC TRAINING COURSE, HYDE PARK
With a large number of decent classic skiers training for ski marathons
following recent courses, I've added a 6-wk classic evening group in Hyde Park.
This will run from next Wednesday until the end of November, with a focus on
training rather than technique.

SKI GANGING ON HIGHGATE HILL
From now until the end of November, I'll be running a 'ski ganging' training
session on Highgate Hill - the longest in London - or
Hampstead Heath. This is basically running with poles, and gets your heart rate
up like nothing else, building fitness and aerobic capacity. Sessions will be
at 7pm on Tuesday evenings, meeting at my flat (20
