ROLLERSKI NEWSLETTER - 30^th APRIL 2008

We have news of the rollerski racing series which starts in two weekends time, news of Mike Dixon's forthcoming rollerski training weekend and a reminder of the Bristol-Bath rollerski trip:

ROLLERSKI RACING BEGINS

The London Race Series begins on Sunday 11th May with a 15k Free Technique race (or 7.5k for beginners). You can do any technique, although most people do skating. For full information, go to the rollerski race calendar at http://www.rollerski.co.uk/ns033.html Note that all the rollerski races are run by Snowsport England or Snowsport Scotland affiliated clubs, with the London Series run by the London Region Nordic Ski Club.

You can do most races on rollerskis of any speed, although some people use fast rollerskis just for racing.

MIKE DIXON @ HETTON LYONS

Mike Dixon will be taking the racing group at the Snowsport England weekend at Hetton Lyons on 20-21st June. If you are interested in racing on snow, this course is well recommended.
