Supporters, Summer is coming, and that means it's all about the
Snow-Camp Movie Premiere, launching the next set of ski and snowboard
summer programmes for inner-city young people and hosting new
fundraising events - and with new staff starting at the Brighton office
this month it's all go at Snow-Camp's Brighton HQ! Hope you enjoy the

Movie Premiere 2010  VUE cinemas will be hosting our
Snow-Camp 2010 Movie Premiere evening once again - at Fulham Broadway
VUE on 14th June. Over 230 young people, staff and volunteers who
attended Snow-Camp 2010 will be present, as well as loads of supporters
and others involved with the charity. If you wish to join us please
RSVP to info@snow-camp.co.uk. Don't worry if you can't make it, the
movie will be available to watch on our website where you can also find
the latest press release for the event.

Snow-Camp Graduate Programme  The next Graduate Programme starts
in August but is already selling out - just 10 places left for the
forthcoming 5 month course. It's a fantastic programme sponsored by
Snowsport England, so if you came on Snow-Camp 2010 and would like to
continue with snow-sports, and learn about ways to stay involved with
the snowsports industry, check out the poster and get in touch.

Snow-Camp London  The 2 day summer Snow-Camp London
courses have also been filling up - of 9 courses and 360 places
available we have under 100 places left. Courses at Chatham Ski Centre
and MK SNO!zone begin on 29th July 2010. If you are a youth group that
would like to sign up for one of these courses, providing an
Introduction to Skiing and Snowboarding with Life-skills, please see the
info at this link and reserve your places asap!

Peak Potential  Snow-Camp launched its new youth
training programme Peak Potential last week at St. Andrews Youth
Programme, Victoria. Young people attended the event from across London
and many signed up on the night to join the course. Funded by YPF
Lottery and Vinspired, the programme will support 20 young leaders a
year by equipping them to design and deliver their own projects in their
communities over Summer 2010. The programme involves each young leader
attending 10 sessions to plan their project, and a challenging
residential in Scotland before launching their project idea in July
2010. The course is free, and is accredited by ASDAN / COPE to Level 3
(70 UCAS points or an A at AS level) If you know a young person that
might want to get involved there is still time - but please get them to
contact Snow-Camp before 1st June 2010. Please see the Peak Potential

Snow-Camp at The House of Lords! We were very honored to be
invited to give a short presentation at a fundraising event hosted by
the Skiers Trust of Great Britain at the House of Lords on 20th May. It
was a great chance to show a short film about Snow-Camp and meet people
interested in the charities work. Thanks once again to the Skiers Trust
for giving us this opportunity, and for their ongoing grant support to
Snow-Camp's work. |

City Drinks Fundraising Event! We are delighted to confirm Graham
Bell will be hosting our second annual City Drinks event on 8th June
2010. The fundraising event aims to help Snow-Camp develop links with
companies and individuals in the City who may be interested in
supporting our work. The evening will involve a short film on
Snow-Camp's work, a raffle and auction and an address by Graham Bell -

Snow-Camp Chalet for sale! Sadly, beautiful Chalet d'Or in
Les 2 Alpes is looking for a new owner. The place where the first ever
Snow-Camp began is on the market for an amazing EUR155,000 for a quick
sale. Ski in and out, private garden, sleeps up 7 people, fantastic
resort, all set up for winter and summer rentals - if owning a ski

have each been recruited part-time to cover Liv as she goes off on
maternity leave next month. Great to have you both on board - and good
